Professional Background

Michael is committed to providing skilled legal advice and services in an unintimidating environment, where both the business savvy and the less experienced feel comfortable and are provided superior representation. His focus is on providing his clients with intimate personal attention, while at the same time providing them with the service, knowledge and skill often associated with larger legal services providers. The autonomy and flexibility afforded the private practitioner allows Michael to customize theses services and provide them in a manner he believes best serves his clients.

Prior to private practice, Michael was with the Office of General Counsel for Candle Corporation in Santa Monica CA, at the time, the second largest privately held software company in the U.S. When he decided to leave the company, he was the company’s Assistant General Counsel.

Prior to his position with Candle Corporation, Michael was a litigation associate with Caulfield, Galvin, Heller, Harris and Colligan in New York City.

Michael has also spent time as a software developer, with both Grumman Aerospace and IBM.

Michael is also a well-accomplished public speaker. He has developed numerous software related legal presentations and presented them at numerous public and private corporate seminars and workshops.
